The Secretariat is pleased to inform you that the AUAP Executive Board had the 54th Meeting held on November 17, 2023 at Siam University, Bangkok, Thailand and unanimously agreed to hold an 17th AUAP General Conference (GC) on theme “The Paradigm Shift in Higher Education: Values for Life”, on November 18-20, 2024. This activity will be organized by Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, India headed by First Vice President Mr. Hari Mohan Gupta.
One of the important activities to be undertaken at this forthcoming 17th AUAP General Conference (GC) is the election of officers of AUAP and members of the Executive Board who will each serve a term of two (2) years from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026. This message is to remind your institution to nominate a candidate for the post of President, First Vice President, Second Vice President and the AUAP Executive Board Members.
NOMINATION AUAP COMMITTEE
(2025 – 2026)
Qualifications and Desirability:
Preferably a doctorate or a Masters in the relevant field, aptitude and relevant experience.
1. Act as a representative of AUAP to disseminate information about events and activities across its networks in order to get new AUAP Members.
2. Institutions are required to provide support for their representatives to attend AUAP Committee Meetings and Conferences.
3. Presence at the relevant AUAP Committees Meetings and AUAP Conferences is mandatory; absence is not permitted except for exigencies where nominated representatives may be considered.
4. All new AUAP Committees are responsible for participating in the 17th AUAP General Conference hosted by Jagran Lakecity University in Bhopal, India, from November 18 to 20, 2024. During this event, you will attend the inauguration ceremony of the new AUAP President and the appointment of AUAP Committees.
Benefits and Opportunities:
1. An opportunity to volunteer and to collaborate closely with the Secretariat and broaden partnerships.
2. Benefit from reduced registration fees when attending AUAP Committee Meetings and Conferences.
